Pinot Gris 2017


On the nose, you will notice delicate aromas of chamomile, tropical and stone fruits. On the palate, you will experience a rich, very textural yet dry style. The floral and fruit flavours are very refined and with great persistence

  • Vine: Pinot Gris Clone Berrysmith & Sel Ovaille
  • Origin: Alexandra Basin – Central Otago
  • Climate conditions: The Autumn was dry and warm allowing the ripening fruit to develop good varietal flavours. The fruit at harvest was impeccably clean with good maturity.
  • Harvest: 18h – 27th April 2017 – hand harvested, whole bunches entering the de-stemmer, resulting in 100% of the berries releasing their juice
  • Bottling: 6 October 2017
  • Alc: 13.5% Vol

  • Cellaring: 2017 – 2022 and drink at 6-8 deg
